Muzhao Fluid was commissioned by a lithium battery energy storage product development company in Jiangsu to install compressed air pipelines in its factory's air compressor room. The air compressor room mainly uses compressed nitrogen gas. Muzhao Fluid's engineering personnel designed a corresponding nitrogen pipeline installation and construction plan based on the actual situation.
The materials used in this project are customized and produced according to the GB/T4437.1-2015 standard, and four specifications of compressed air pipelines are used, including 150 meters of DN80 pipeline, 180 meters of DN40 pipeline, 280 meters of DN25 pipeline, and 420 meters of DN20 pipeline; The use of pipeline fittings includes: pipe joints, quick installation adapters, valves, flanges, hoses, equal diameter tees, reducing tees, etc.

Precautions for installation of compressed air pipelines
The main pipeline should be in a circular loop to ensure sufficient flow and stable pressure for each branch pipeline. The entire circular main pipeline should be inclined at an angle of about 0.5-1% to install an automatic drain valve at the lowest point of the pipeline to discharge the collected condensate.
The installation of the main pipeline should avoid downward bends as much as possible. If it is unavoidable due to the structure of the building, automatic drainage valves can be installed at each low point.
The branch pipeline should be led out from above the main pipeline in a swan neck shape to prevent liquid condensate from directly entering the branch pipeline.
Selection of Inner Diameter of Pipeline
The selection of the inner diameter of the main pipeline should consider two factors: the total length of the pipeline and the total amount of compressed air required by the workshop.
As the total length and the total amount of compressed air required by the workshop increase, the inner diameter of the main pipeline also needs to increase accordingly.
Branch pipes are generally not too long in length and are commonly used with inner diameters ranging from 3/4 inch to 1 inch.
